I met Kevin at Wal~Mart last night after we were both done working, to do a little grocery shopping. Kevin had already been shopping for a while when I got there and needless to say, was done. While he was waiting for me he saw a sign on the Christmas geese that said $4.95. Since that is an amazing deal he thought he'd grab two. The cashier looked shocked after ringing up the geese and asked, "Do you realize how much these are?" Kevin replied, "Yes, they should be $4.95 each. She said no that's per pound. These geese are actually $51 and $55! She couldn't believe how expensive they were and quite frankly I couldn't either. I wonder if anyone that can afford them actually shops at Wal~Mart. Kevin returned them to the meat department checked to see if he was blind or delusional. They did say $4.95. (I had to add that so he still looks intelligent.) Unless he'd like to chase a goose down it looks like we're back to turkey. Maybe I can talk Kevin into a vegetarian Christmas dinner...As if.

That is so funny. If you want a duck, H can shoot you one next week or so. He likes to shoot them, but not eat them.
And I can't believe your daughter's substitute teacher was so wreckless with such delicate information! I think ruining Christmas and childhood is grounds for termination, too.
You know, if it didn't say PER POUND :) then you could of argued it and got it for that price. They can't argue with you if it says that. I know, because I use to work at Walmart, and if we missed printed it.. then we had to allow the customer get it. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT, is what we were taught. You wouldn't believe how many people knew it and would ask for managers over the stupidest things, things we could of not sold to them for the price they wanted. They would still get it.
I love your Christmas music :)
Turkey sounds good to me... I never cared the ducks the men brought home after shooting them;]
~or maybe some buffalo chips and dingle berries:D I still can't believe your mom asked the butcher for some to serve to her new inlaws!!!! Did you even know tha story?
It was nice to have Kim and your Dad at the wedding. It turned out to be such a nice day.
I love you bunches!
Trina, you crack me up!!! I loved the picture of the goose that you added for emphasis! Well, I totally think ya'll should have argued the price! That's what they get for labeling it wrong!
Ok- so I loved the story you left on my blog about the "barbie bed". I'm gonna guess Kalten??? And the fact that you played along, and showed him that the "bed" sticks to the floor! lol! You're such a cool mom!
