Kids say the darndest things

Do your kids say hilarious things? I feel like I've been blessed to have very funny children enter my life, whether they are my own or one of the kids I do care for. I thought I'd share some funnies. I'll try and post a blog every few days about one or more of these. My oldest son Trevin was one of the greatest when it came to a good laugh, he had such an innocence and naivety about him. I loved that he called the library the strawberry, Two-Face (from Batman) was Toothpaste and sausages were hostages. One of my favorite memories though was when he was given some stir-fry to eat and he didn't want it. I gave him one piece of each item in the meal and said that was all he needed to eat. I told him I'd come check on him in a minute and I'd be looking in the garbage if I didn't think he ate it. Sure enough, when I came back his plate was gone, yes the whole plate. I asked him where his food was and he said he ate it. I went to the garbage and it wasn't there. I looked in the sink and under it with no luck. That is when he piped up and said, "Don't look in the closet OK mom?"
